Pittsburgh native Tressa Glover is an actor, producer, writer, podcaster, and small business owner. She is the founder of Support Women Artists Now Day - Pittsburgh and Creator of the live theater sitcom, The Sisters Sorella. Tressa received the prestigious Jefferson Award in 2022 and was the recipient of a Circle of Courage Award in 2025. Tressa is an Honorary Co-chair of Variety the Children’s Charity and a member of both the SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity unions.
Tressa’s award-winning podcast,Yinz Are Good, shares the good news going on out there and celebrates the good people who are making it happen. Episodes feature folks who are building community, providing hope, and lifting others up. Yinz Are Good has produced 198 episodes to date and is now being listened to in 69 countries around the world. Support Women Artists Now (SWAN) Day is an international holiday designed to showcase the power and diversity of women’s creativity and is celebrated during Women’s History Month. Tressa founded Pittsburgh's annual SWAN Day event in 2009; over its eight years it would go on to be recognized by SWAN Day founders as one of seven official event partners in the world. Inspired by the women in her Italian and Italian-American family, Tressa created, co-wrote, and co-starred in the live theater sitcom, The Sisters Sorella. The series ran for one year at Arcade Comedy Theater and was then adapted into a web series. Tressa is a graduate of both Hampton High School and Penn State University.
